Hello All!!! It's the 1st of November today and soon it'll be December!! Time is moving so quickly! Have you noticed right after Thanksgiving, people begin to put up their Christmas lights??!! I have to admit, Christmas is my favorite time of the year (alongside Thanksgiving). Seeing all of the Christmas decorations sort of brings me back to my childhood and I get this warm, fuzzy feeling inside! lol I also look forward to Christmas gatherings and parties!! If you are like me, you have the tendency to procrastinate and wait until the last minute to find the right outfit. Now would be a good time to have in mind what type of look you plan to achieve for holiday festivities.
The dresses, pictured to the left, are examples of looks you can go with for your event. The long/one-shoulder dress is more formal with a classic appeal. The event I attended was an athletic ball; however, such an outfit can be worn at this time of year as well. The other two dresses are semi-formal/party dresses I purchased for a Christmas party back in 2009. I couldn't decide if I wanted to wear the traditional little black dress or the sparkly/flashy attire. After inquiring which would be more appropriate from friends (reason for mirror photos), I decided to go with the black dress. The sad thing is, there are still tags on the black & silver dress. Make certain you thoroughly examine your closet before purchasing something new. You may just have that perfect dress hanging in the closet!!
The green dress was purchased from Haute Chic Boutique:
