As much as I enjoy my relaxed and comfy looks, I do love dressing up on occasions. There is nothing like stepping out of the house with confidence in yourself and your wardrobe! Today's post showcases how I boldly mixed prints and made it stylish. When I saw this $7 dress (yes, I said $7!!-lol), immediately I noticed its potential. I knew exactly what pieces were needed to give it an edgy flare. I layered with a black jacket and chose my black/grey leopard print purse. Normally, this purse is used as an accent piece with solid colors; however, there is nothing wrong with mixing patterns and making statements. Other accessories include: silver jewelry, black tights, and black ankle strap pumps.
My hair is an old twist out pushed up in a high-puff style with bangs. I used Carol's Daughter healthy hair butter (purchased at Sephora) and a Scunci Large Upzing Double Comb to keep in place (purchased at Wal-Mart).
